Some Recent Pics

15 Months Old and Getting Bigger!!

Jackson had his 15-month check-up today, and he gained weight!! He is now 29 1/4 inches long (5th percentile) and weighs 18 pounds, 11.2 ounces (that is still not on the charts, but all we were looking for was that he weighed more than the 17 pounds he weighed 2 and 3 months ago). He has been on medicine to stimulate his appetite for the last month, so I guess it is working! He has been eating a lot better lately (and the butter and cheese we add to everything can't hurt!). The doctor said everything else looked great, and even the shots (3) were not too bad this time!

I was trying to take a picture of Jackson's feet hanging out of the crib (in between the slats) while he was sleeping (it was so cute!), but he woke up when I opened the door. So here's a grumpy, yet adorable, picture of Jackson waking up from his nap!

Jackson is very small for his age, and we have been a little worried that he is not gaining enough weight (we think due to just a small appetite). I guess the bright side of that is that we don't have to buy too many new clothes for him! Here he is in the same outfit (which is size 3-6 months*) at 4 months old and at 14 months old!

*All of his clothes are not size 3-6 months, but he can wear a lot of shorts from last summer. He has actually grown out of some 6-12 month pants because they are too short. But everything is sized so differently, I've learned you can't go by that too much.
