Off the Market
Well, I guess we just aren't meant to move. We tried for 10 months back in 2007 - 2008 to sell our house - just as the housing market bubble started to burst - and we tried again for 2.5 months this spring with no luck. So, we have officially taken our house off the market for now. With several recent foreclosures in our neighborhood, our house value just keeps dropping further and further. We'll try again when prices are on the upswing, but for now we're still here. We're trying to rearrange our house a little and make some adjustments so that it's more comfortable for our lifestyle since we'll be here for a while longer... hopefully not too many more years. Either way, we're happy to be able to "live" again and not have to keep a perfect house for showings (which I don't recommend doing with 2 kids and a dog, by the way). As for now, we've almost made it through year number 5 in the same house. Definitely a record!

Bummer! But you're right - nice not to have to try and keep an immaculate house anymore - I don't know how you did it! I think I would've had to make Elle & Kate live in a bubble. Maybe Tyler too. :)
