A Busy Thanksgiving Weekend!
There are a lot of posts below to catch you up on our busy Thanksgiving weekend. Scroll down to the "Happy Thanksgiving" video and work your way up to see what we've been up to the last few days! We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Decorating the Christmas Tree

Notice the bottom of the tree is pretty bare this year. That's to keep all of the breakable ornaments out of the toddler's reach! We also could not hang the stockings above the fireplace in fear of Jackson pulling a stocking down, along with the 5-pound, iron letter (we have 3 that spell "JOY") that holds the stocking up. But we did find another nice, high place to hang them!
War Eagle!
I wore my Auburn University sweatshirt to the store yesterday. As we passed by a couple, the man said, "War Eagle!" to me. And Jackson answered back, "War Eagle!!"
Santa Claus, a Chrismas Tree, Reindeer...and Rain!
We went to a Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration with Mimi and Pop. We got to see Santa Claus, his reindeer, and a huge, beautiful tree! There were also people singing Christmas songs on a stage and giving out prizes, but unfortunately we didn't win anything. It rained while we were there, but we still had a lot of fun getting in the Christmas spirit!

20 Months and 5 Years
Jackson is 20 months old today, and he is incredible!! He is so much fun and so happy (now that a few teeth have finally popped through)! He has grown up so much over the last few months. It is amazing how many words he knows and how well he communicates with us now. He sings songs, dances, plays catch, etc....and his latest "game" is to squat down and say "Ready, Set, GO!" Then he runs across the room and does it all over again...and over...and over!

November 1, 2003Yesterday was our 5th year anniversary! We celebrated by spending a night away at Chateau Elan while Mimi and Pop stayed with Jackson. We had a great time! (Thanks again, Mimi and Pop!)

Happy Birthday, Lily Grace!

We went to Lily Grace's birthday party today. The kids wore their Halloween costumes and painted little pumpkins! We tried to get a cute picture of Lily Grace and Jackson together in their costumes, but as you can see, they were not very excited about it!Saturday, October 18, 2008
A Fun Fall Day!

It was such a beautiful fall day in Atlanta today, so we decided to go to a pumpkin patch. While we were there, Jackson got to ride a pony. We weren't sure how he was going to react, and it's hard to tell from the picture above, but he LOVED it!! He smiled and laughed the whole time! It was a great day to be outside with the family!Thursday, October 02, 2008

You Should See the Other Guy...
Jackson got his first black eye (his right eye) at school today after he collided with another kid on the playground:( They called me at work to tell me what happened, but by then he was already playing again and having fun. I think it hurt when it happened, but I don't think it's really bothered him since. (By the way, we are aware that he needs a haircut. We're hoping to get to that this weekend!)
Just My Size
We found this cute little table and chairs for Jackson at IKEA. He loves to sit there and eat his snacks...it's the perfect size for him! We are probably going to paint it, but we haven't decided yet on the color(s).Monday, September 22, 2008
A Day in the Plains
Riding the Tiger Transit to campus with Daddy (and Mommy)
Running around the baseball field
Picture with Mommy on the baseball field
Similar picture from this time last year (with Juli and Noah) Look how much he's grown!!
We went to Auburn last weekend to tailgate before the Auburn vs. LSU game. Scott ended up getting 2 tickets for us, so Erik went to the game with a friend and Jackson and I went back to Scott's house for the night. Even though Auburn lost, we had a lot of fun!
