Jackson's MRI

Jackson had a brain MRI done today. The doctor wanted to make sure he didn't have an abnormal amount of fluid on his brain that could be causing an increased head circumference, and he wanted to monitor the cysts that were found in his brain when I was pregnant. Erik and I were dreading the MRI, and it was definitely not a fun experience, but we did get good news. Jackson's brain is normal and the cysts are completely gone! So after having worried about this for a year and a half now, we are finally in the clear! We don't have to go back to the neurologist or do any more tests!

9 Month Check-Up

Jackson had his 9 month check-up yesterday. He is now 27 1/4 inches long and weighs 15 pounds, 6.4 ounces. He's definitely on the small side, but he's doing well and getting around and into more everyday! He's crawling, standing up, and just starting to "cruise" around the furniture. I was excited because he didn't have to get any vaccinations at this check-up. However, he did have to have blood drawn, and I soon found out that that is MUCH worse. But he was feeling better by the time we left the office and was asleep by the time we got out of the parking lot!
