Jackson and Grandma Rosie

As soon as Grandma Rosie walked in the door for Papa Ray's 90th birthday party, Jackson grabbed her and said, "Come play the piano with me." Grandma Rosie can play just about any song by ear. Jackson just stared at her and tried to play just like her! Even though he wanted to play Kid Rock at first, here they are singing "Jesus Loves Me" (we have a Zac Brown CD featuring Kid Rock on one of the songs Jackson likes).

Jackson's New Microphone

This is what I saw when I walked into the living room yesterday. Jackson rigged up his own microphone and stand out of a broom and a toy train whistle...and he was using the coffee table as his stage!

I'm a Big Zac Brown Fan!

Jackson's First Dentist Appointment

We were a little nervous about how Jackson's first dentist appointment would go, but he did great!! We were so impressed! He was actually excited and just laid there and let the dentist do everything he needed to do. And...no cavities! In the waiting room

Ready to get started!

He looks scared in this picture, but he really wasn't. He was just looking up at the light.

He got sunglasses to keep the light out of his eyes.

Auburn Baseball

We went to Auburn yesterday for a baseball game and to visit Scott, Jessi, and Bronx. Jackson loved watching the game and had even more fun playing on the field afterwards. He even got to play with some Auburn baseball players (and bossed them around a little bit...he told one player how he should hold the bat)! Unfortunately, I also had my first "kid says very inappropriate thing" embarrassing moment yesterday when we passed a rather large gentleman on the stairs and Jackson said (TWICE), "Hey, look at that fat guy!" I don't even know where he learned that (school, I'm guessing). I tried to talk over him so the man wouldn't hear him, but I'm not sure if it worked. Other than that, it was a very fun and pleasant day! On our way to the game

Jackson and Johnny

On our way to Auburn yesterday, we stopped by Peachtree City to visit our friends Jennifer and Johnny. We went on a golf cart ride to Chick-fil-A and then Johnny and Jackson played at their house for a while. They had so much fun and were so cute playing together! Jackson didn't want to leave!
