Doctor's Visit

Jackson went to the doctor last week for a weight check and a flu shot. Doc wanted to make sure he was gaining weight and staying on the "curve." It turns out, Jackson gained about a pound since our last visit, weighing in at 14 pounds, 9.6 ounces. The doctor said that was good, so we will just keep doing what we're doing. The flu shot (the first of two) went well. Jackson squeezed my hands and screamed for a few seconds, but then he was fine. It was much easier than the vaccinations (4 or 5 needles at once). But, unfortunately, we do have to go back in a month for a second round.

Jackson had his 6-month check-up today. The doctor said he is doing great...weighs 13 pounds, 13 ounces (he didn't gain very much since last check-up, and doctor said he could stand to eat a little more...I wish a doctor would tell me that:) His length is 25.5 inches.

We can't believe Jackson is already six months old! We love him so much, and we're having so much fun with him (especially now that he has been sleeping at least 11 hours every night!) He is the cutest, sweetest little baby boy, and we are looking forward to watching him grow and learn new things everyday!
